TRISOPLAC

TRISOPLAC is a development, which adds new dimensions to our controlled pore glass product portfolio. TRISOPLAC is available in a broad range of geometries and offers a lot of advantageous properties of the powdered material in shapes of platelets, rods, cylinders and other bodies. Applications in sensor technology, separation devices and many other fields are possible.

The new devoloped nanoporous monoliths have a lot advantageous properties:

  • flexible dimensions
  • membranes of different thicknesses between 180 and 1500 µm
  • controll and reproducible adjustable texture in entire area of nanopores
  • uniform microstructure and very narrow poresize distribution
  • no cracks and define mass transport
  • high optical transparency in dependence of poresize
  • high mechanical, chemical and thermal stability
  • chemical varied modifiable surface

The high mechanical, thermal, and chemical stability of TRISOPLAC, the variable pore sizes with narrow pore size distribution and the variety of surface modifications of TRISOPLAC open for a wide rang of applications in the following fields:

  • nano technology
  • micro reaction engineering
  • gas separation
  • solid phase biochemistry
  • filtration
  • membrane technology
  • sensor
  • heterogeneous catalysis
Table 1 gives a overview of the available nanoporous glass membrane types.
